This page sets out how payments work for projects delivered by APEX M LTD (Company No. 15220750, registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX). It is intended to give you a clear, straightforward understanding of how money moves between you, Stripe (the payment provider), and APEX M LTD — so that there are no surprises at the point of booking.
1. Accepted payment methods
Payments are accepted by debit card, credit card, and the alternative payment methods supported by Stripe in the United Kingdom (which may include Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link). Bank transfer is available for larger commissions on request. Cash payments are not accepted.
2. Stripe processing
All card payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK, Limited, an independent regulated payment provider. When you click the payment button for a project package, you are taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Your card details are entered into Stripe's secure environment and are not visible to APEX M LTD.
APEX M LTD receives only the information needed to reconcile the payment to your project — typically your name, the amount paid, the package purchased, and a Stripe transaction reference. Stripe's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to the payment processing itself.
3. One-time project payments
Every payment listed on the pricing page is a one-time, one-off charge for a defined project. Once a payment has been taken, no further charges can be made against your card without a fresh, explicit checkout journey initiated by you.
For larger commissions — refurbishments, kitchens, bathrooms, extensions, and bespoke builds — payment is typically structured as a deposit at booking, one or more interim stage payments tied to defined milestones, and a balance on completion. The structure is always confirmed in writing in the proposal before any payment is taken.
4. No recurring billing
APEX M LTD does not operate any subscription, membership, recurring billing, or "auto-renew" arrangements. No card details are stored on file for repeat charging. Each project requires a fresh payment authorisation from you.
If you ever see a recurring charge appearing to come from APEX M LTD, please contact us immediately so that it can be investigated and refunded if needed.
5. Direct Debit
Despite the title of this page (which is included for transparency with payment-information conventions), APEX M LTD does not currently operate a Direct Debit scheme. All payments are taken as one-off card payments or, by prior arrangement for larger commissions, as bank transfers. Should a Direct Debit-based arrangement be offered in future, full details would be published here and you would be asked to set it up explicitly via your bank — no mandate would be created without your knowledge.
6. Invoices and receipts
Stripe automatically issues an electronic receipt to the email address used at checkout. A more detailed APEX M LTD invoice — suitable for personal accounting, landlord record-keeping, or business expense claims — can be issued on request, including company name, registered office, and VAT details where applicable.
7. Currencies and VAT
Payments are taken in pounds sterling (GBP). Where VAT applies, it is included in the displayed price unless the proposal states otherwise.
8. Failed and disputed payments
If a payment fails at the Stripe checkout, no charge is made and you can try again immediately. If a payment appears to have been taken twice in error, please contact us as soon as you notice it so that the duplicate can be refunded. Disputed payments are handled in line with the Refund Policy and Complaints Policy.
9. Security
Stripe is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1 and operates the industry-standard security controls expected of a major payment provider. APEX M LTD does not see, store, or process raw card information.
